PARCEL DROPPED FROM 'PLANE
A parcel which was found to contain an Italian book and several newspaper cuttings was seen to fall from an aero- plane into the lake behind the club- houses at Stoke Poges Golf Course, near Slough,
Mr. T. Mohan, the club's hall porter, retrieved the parcel with the aid of a landing net used for recovering golf balls. The book is entitled "Cuentos de Boccaccio" and is dated 1882. The newspaper cuttings bear the name of “Mr. C. H. O: Lanchester."
