RUSSIA PLANNINGLATE CAL
TO OCCUPY UP TO CURZON
LINE
London, To-day.
"THE DIPLOMATIC CORRESPONDENT of the "Daily Tele- graph," discussing the invasion of Poland, says he learns from a Soviet source that the Russian advance is designed to occupy all Eastern Poland up to the so- called Curzon Line.
This runs
from Grodno, through) Bialystok, Brest-Litovsk and Przemysl to the Carpathian Mountains.
The Curzon Line indicated the British view in 1920 of the legl- timate eastern frontier of the newly-created Polish State.
WHOLE OF UKRAINE
The correspondent points out that if the Soviet aim is successful in the south, it will include the whole of the Ukraine within Soviet frontiers.

It is not yet easy to determine how far this action was already approved by Germany under the recent Moscow non-aggression agreement, though it seems likely from statements made in Soviet circles that Moscow had no Turkish Foreign Minister, M. Broadly, therefore, it appears. that Russia is taking up protective post-" tive positions in the west and south- east and will not seek to extend her frontiers except where neighbouring | Russia has no desire to see Germany territories are threatened by a third fully established on the shores of the powerful State like Germany.-Reu- Black Sea. Indeed, the visit of theter.
