Tientsin To Hold Anti-British Demonstrations
Chungking, To-day. Anti-British demonstrations sponsored by Japan
ese and puppet authorities will be held in Tien- tsin on July 7, the second anniversary of the outbreak of Sino-Japanese hostilities, states a Tientsin report. Preparations are under way. Similar demonstrations will be held in other cities in North China.
Japanese-sponsored papers in Tientsin have con-
tinued to publish editorials attacking Britain in the past few days and anti-British propaganda has been disseminated through the broadcast- ing station.
