A question was put in the House of Commons yes- terday to Captain H. H. Balfour, Under-Secre- tary for Air, regarding Imperial Airways ser- vices to Singapore.

Captain Balfour stated that out of a total of 22 sche- duled services due to arrive in Singapore from England between January 1 and February 22 last, 12 arrived late and ten punctually.

The Jewish delegation has or less decided to continue to take part in the Palestine conference only on condition that the British proposals are decisively modified, according to well-informed Jewish circles, which state that Jewish de- legates in course of informal con- versations with the British Govern- ment representatives requested that, before discussions were re- sumed, the Cabinet should make known in writing its acceptance of the concessions demanded.
