FRENCH TALKS IN BURGOS
Burgos, To-day.
The French unofficial envoy, Sena- tor Leon Berard, expressed great satisfaction with the result of his two hours' conversation with Count Jordana.
Immediately after leaving Jor- dana, he had a long conversation over the telephone with M. Bonnet in Paris.
Although reserve is shown on both sides, it is believed in Nation- alist circles that the talk between Jordana and Berard left no doubt that the French may appoint Д diplomatic, and not merely a com- mercial, representative in Burgos.— Trans-Ocean.
