SIR T. INSKIP OFFERS RESIGNATION

Sir Thomas Inskip, Minister for Co-ordination of Defence, is alleg- ed to have offered his resignation to Mr. Chamberlain, who, accord- ing to the "Evening News" refused to accept it.
No statement on the subject from official sources is forthcoming.
The "Evening News" says that Sir Thomas offered his resignation in order to facilitate eventual re- organisation of the Cabinet.- Trans-Ocean.

Kwan Wing-kwong, 20, coolie, was fined $5 or two weeks' by Mr. Macfadyen at Kowloon this morn- ing when he pleaded guilty to stealing $26 from Sapper L. Mar- tin, of the Royal Engineers, yester- day.
