The Air Ministry announces that at the invitation of Sir Kingsley Wood, Secretary for Air, the follow- ing have consented to serve as Com missioners for the recently consti- tuted Civil Air Guard, under Chair- manship of Lord Londonnery:
Mr. W. Lindsay Everard, who is la member of Parliament for the Melton Division. He is an Honor- ary Air Commodore in the Auxili- tary Air Force and Chairman of the Royal Aero Club and of the General Council of Associated Light Aero- plane Clubs. He is a private air- craft owner and possesses his own aerodrome at Ratcliffe.
Major Alan Goodfellow, who is a Solicitor and war time pilot în' the Royal Air Force. He is a member of the Lancashire Aero Club and of the General Council of Associat- [ed Light Aeroplane Clubs. He is both an aeroplane, and glider pilot.
Mrs. Miles, who is wife of Mr. F. G. Miles, Joint Managing Direc- tor of Phillips and Powis Aircraft Limited of Reading, and is employ- ed in the drawing office of that firm. She is a pilot and member of.. the Reading Flying Club.
