A squadron of insurgent bombers attacked the little town of Granöll- ers, about 30 kilometres northwest of Barcelona yesterday morning.
The loss of life caused by the bombardment is exceedingly ser- ious, according to the authorities here, which estimate that more than 500 persons were killed.
Nationalist bombers also raided Valencia yesterday.
