Bournemouth Conference Strongly Condemns Japan

SUBMITTED

TO-DAY

London, To day.

The Executive of the Labour Party, meeting at Bournemouth, yesterday decided to authorise Ma- jor Clement Attlee, Leader of the Parliamentary Labour Party, to communicate with the Govern- ment and request that Parliament should be sum- moned immediately to deal with the international situation, especially the Sino-Japanese conflict.

Earlier in the proceedings the national execu- tive of the Party had agreed on a resolution which will be submitted to the annual conference on Monday.
