Italian Action On Note To Be Deferred

Rome, To-day.

Any action on the Anglo-French Note inviting Italy to participate in a tri-partite conference on Spain, will be deferred until Signor Mussolini re- turns from his short vacation at his country home, declared Count Ciano, the Foreign Minister, to the British Ambassador and French Charge d'Affaires.

A definite tendency can be seen in Italian poli- tical circles to attribute as little importance to the Note as possible.
