Japan intends to reject the demands put for ward by Great Britain in connection with the wounding of the British Ambassador to China, Sir Hughe Knatchbull-Hugessen, by Japanese planes. So declares the Tokyo correspondent of the London "Evening Standard."
According to the correspondent, Tokyo will merely make a formal apology and will decline to give any assurances that there will be no repetition of such incidents in future.
