FILIP TO US.R.C. VENTURE
(By "Adrem")
THERE is every indication that the hardcourt championships, organised by the United Ser- vices Recreation Club, will prove of even more in- terest than the Colony tournament at the Hong Kong Cricket Club.
Latest information which I am certain will be welcomed by all tennis enthusiasts, is the entry of Tsui Wai-pui, who is scheduled to return from Europe as one of China's representatives in the Davis Cup competition, on the 27th of this month.
Another interesting piece of mus news is that W. C. Hung, the CRC. skipper, and finalist in the Colony doubles championship, has changed his mind and will after all be entering for not only the singles, but also for the doubles, as Tsui's partner.
These two names, in addition to those who have already signified their intention of competing, are all that are required to make the competition really epresentative of the Colony's best.
