With success already assured the Nomads completed their engage- ments without a defeat when they secured a 52 run margin of victory over Tyros, batting first and scor- ing 151 runs for the loss of 9 wie- kets, declared, and dismissing their opponents for 89 runs.

Nomads were in for just over two hours for their 151 runs, and their earlier batting performances were not at all impressive. They were 5 wickets down for 60 in an hour, and it remained for Dunkley's hitting late in his innings, and a grand knock by Leach to carry the score on more rapidly. Orr and Craey also assisted to add to the pace of scor- ing. Earlier in the game, F: Mar- shall had been in for nearly half an hour for his "duck," although he was batting at a critical period and was probably wise in playing a can- tious game.

cessful in his first five ove four of which were maidens. He took 2 wie- kets for 2 runs in this period. Di vecha was using the wind to send down a ball that was going away very rapidly and proved dangerous- The Tyros innings was poor, only White and Wilson reaching double figures, the skipper's 25 being a merry knock in characteristic style.
