SUGGESTED PACK AFTER TRIAL GAME
THE SPECIALISATION THEORY
(By Rowe Harding)
London, December 9. FTER the Welsh Trial match on Saturday
had an interesting discussion with a former Welsh international forward on the merits of specialisation on the scrum. He played for Wales in the early post-war years, before the principle of fixed places in the scrum had been adopted in Wales, and though he was by instinct and natur- al capacity a wing forward, he played with suc- cess in the Welsh 'second row.

The whole subject of betting has been complicated by the re- cent growth of football pools, and, whether it be urgent or not, it is too great a matter to be dealt with for some time to come.
