The Royal Navy make their second appearance in the Senior

WELSH SELECTORS PROBLEMS

(By Howard Marshall)

London, October 2.

Do not let us make the mistake of under-rating

the All Blacks after their defeat at Swansea. In that grey drizzle they were fairly and square- ly beaten, but they must surely have learnt their lessons. They are still a potentially great side, and when all their injured players are available again we shall have every reason to fear them.

Their forward weakness. though, is puzzling. It makes us think that since New Zealand abandoned their 2-3-2 scrummage formation they have lost sight of all scrummaging principles in their search for a quick-heeling equivalent
