One of the exercises is fairly easy to do, buz don't be deceived that it is your old reliable with which you've long been familiar. In 1-a you're standing in good posture, hands on hips. Now you kick forward with each foot alter- matel with knees straight, goose- step action. On this first step in the exercise you kick forward, as: instructed, fairly close to the floor. Count right foot forward; 1; left foot, 2: right, 3; left, 4, and up to 19 1-b: Knees still straight and stretched to toe tips, kick forward knee height, one foot, other foot, 12 counts altogether. 1-2: Bring bended knee high up as you can, clasping it with hands help on the stretch, drop to floor. Up with other foot and knee. Repeat 12 counts. Now when you become a little more agile you are suppos ed to go through these same move- ments on the run! This isn't bar.. z bit, as you see.

First. move in the second exer- eise is to get down on your knees. Now put your hands on hips and from that kneeling position drop to floor, sitting position, on one side of your legs, then flop over to sitting position on other side of the legs. Flop or roll over right again, back, to left, and so on. 25 times. But no help with hands touching the floor, remember, to brace or steady you. At first keep hands on hips. Then when you get the technique hold your hands clasped in front of you and up.. It gives a little more stretch and pull on the muscles.
If you find this a bit too topply "at first, work on the other exer-
cise I have given you. It will sup- ply a good deal of the body balanc and control that makes the secon? exercise simpler.
