DELIBERATE PERJURY ALLEGED AND JUDGMENT RESERVED

Judgment was reserved by Mr. Justice P. Jacks in an action! brought in the Court of Sum- mary Jurisdiction this morning.] by Yuen Kam-chuen, of No. 25, Tang Lung Street. against the Chan Mok-kee Tea House Firm, of Nos. Ga, and 6b, West Street. Quarry Bay, for $1,000. alleged to have been lent on a promis- sory note.

The case, which was adjourned from last Thursday afternoon, took an unusual turn this morning when Chun Yun, son of Chun Mow-kee, owner of the defendant firm, giving evidence, admitted that he had com- mitted theft and forgery, taking his father's chop for the purpose of cipping a promissory note for cush owed by him to the plaintiT.
