For disobeying a traffic signal at the junction of Bonham Road and Pokfulum Read on November 29, vehicle a public Lau Kwal-ing. driver, was fined $15 at the Central Police Court this morning.
The Rev. Father D. F. Hourigan. of the Salesian Society, in evidence, said that he was riding his motor. cycle towards Pokfulum at the time- and received the signal to proceed at the junction. The defendant's ear approached in the opposite direction but failed to stop. He was obliged to pull up suddenly to avoid an accident.
