Hadley made a brilliant recovery in the 50 Yards to set up a new Interport record of 25 seconds when he beat E. B. Roza. He repeated his success over Roza in the Medley relay, clocking 24.2 5 secs., to give Shanghai the victory by a touch.
R. Duell gave Shanghai their third success when he gained the decision over Ed da Roza in the diving contest. Though securing as many wins as their rivals Shanghai were led by 27 points to 241
at the conclusion.
