J.
To Meet Yacht Club On Wednesday
(By SHORT HEAD.)
F. LUNNY (Electric) yester- day qualified to meet H. Hampton in the Second Round of the Colony Championship when he beat F. V. Ribeiro (Recreio) by 21-15 on the Civil Service green.
The game was abandoned, owing to bad light on Tuesday evening with Lunny leading 20-15. Yes- terday he scored the necessary shot for victory on the first head.
It was bad luck on Ribeiro, as he led until poor light greatly handi- capped his play-he wears
spec.
tacles. It was another case of a player leading and not caring to appeal against the light when things were going against him..
