COIL DEVELOPMENTS.

It is really rather interesting to writes "Thermion" in note, Amateur Wireless, how the trend of development has gone back just recently to where it was some years 880. The most useful feature was their simplicity; all you had to do was remove the cover, when you could insert any other coll you liked inside and replace the cover again.

SPEECH RESENTED.

Minister Contradicts King Zogu.

Belgrade, March 15. A controversy has broken out between King Zogu, of Albania, and the Yugo-Slavian Government as a result of a speech by King Zogu which was reported in the Vienna newspapers.

In this speech King Zogu bitter- ly complained of the attitude of Yugo-Slavia towards Albania and declared that armed parties are constantly invading Albania from Yugo-Slavia, doing considerable damage and committing outrages with the object of damaging Al- bania and her finances.

Dr. Voyislav Marinkovitach, the Yugo-Slav Foreign Minister, in a spirited reply, declared that King Zogu's statement is completely un-!

true.

The armed parties which had Invaded Albanian territory from Yugo-Slavia consisted entirely of Albanian political refugees, and King Zogu was scarcely in a posi- tion to complain of such Yugo Slav hospitality, because he had boen only too glad to avail himself thereof when he was compelled to flee his native land-Reuter Wire Jeau.

Joke Which "Put The Wind Up" Nazis Leader.

Berlin, Mar. 14. What was at first thought to be an attempt on the life of Dr. Josef Goebbels, the National Socialist lender, turned out to be merely a practical joke.

Dr. Goebbels received a mysteri- ous parcel, which was given a wide berth both by him and the mem- bera of his household.

Bomb experts were summoned, when it was revealed that the parcel contained nothing more than match-box filled with gunpowder and half-a-dozen fireworks packed in gravel.

The police believe that even if it had exploded it would not have done much harm.
