The V.R,C. ensily accounted for the University in a water polo match last night, scoring 7 goals to one. The victory was gained with only six, players, as Mr. Weyman, the referee, ordered Roza Pereira out of the bath soon- after the start. The V.R.C. took things easily to begin with, but afterward played strongly, with the result that an interesting game was seen.

copy of Volume 1 of the "HongTreasury, Personal Emoluments Kong Racing Record for the first $8,900. half of 1930. This book,.no doubt, will be of great value to turf en- thusiasts.
The volume, which is published by the Hong Kong Jockey Club. contains four sections, 131 pages being race results of meetings held from February 22 to June 14 this year,
The Secretary of State for the Colonies has selected" Mr. Edwin Taylor of Sierra Leone to fill the post et. Deputy Treasurer in Hong Kong at a salary of £1,200 per
annum. Mr. Taylor left England on May 29, 1930.
A supplementary vote is requested to cover his salary from May 20 to December 31, 1930.
Section 2 gives the result of races according to. distance, while in the third section is detailed the list of ponies. Section 4 furnishes jockey records.
