ARMED ROBBERY.
Occupants of Matshed Attacked.
TWO IN HOSPITAL
An armed robbery which, was attended by the wounding of two of the three victims, occurred at Bay View this morning.
The rald occurred in an un- numbered matshed erected on the site of the old fortress near the Hong Kong Electric Company's North Point premises. The mat- shed is occupied by Tang Shing, a atal holder, and two meinbers of his family.

According to Tang, four men broke into the matshed at about 3.20 this morning. Three of the intruders carried iron bars and the other a dagger,.
Resistance of offered by two of the three in.. mates of the matshed, whereupon the man with the dagger stabbed them, causing wounds which, while not serious, necessitated their removal to the Government Civil Hospital for precautionary treatment against the possibility of septic poisoning.
The robbers broke open several boxes in the matshed and helped themselves to money and cloth- ing. Their haul must have been a disappointing one as they man- aged to get booty worth only $32. They decamped after spending about 20 minutes in the matshed, and the stall-holder, Tang, saw them run in a southerly direction. The C.I.D. are now investigat- Ing the affair,

The junk Maskee, which is to try to tour the world, left long Kong this morning at nine o'clock with Capt Stevens and Maree companions.
Final perparations were made "yesterday, and the navigators were busily engaged in saying "good-bye" to their friends. And with a good breeze blowing this morning they heaved anchor, spread out their walls, and went oft.
At about ten o'clock, Green Island signalled to Hong Kong saying that the Maskee had just passed. She was salling well, and Capt. Stevenson and his com- panions were quite cheerful,

Another disastrous motor acci dent on the Castle Peak Road has: to be reported, and unless some- thing is done to the various bends there, motor accidents will be- come a daily occurrence.
