E el Arculli, the C.C.C. No. 3, showed up prominent- ly and won deserved applause time and again for his sound all-round play.

The annual aquatic sports of the St. John Ambulance Brigade in Hong Kong took place yesterday at the King's College Pool, before a large gathering of spectators.
The Chater Championship Shield was won jointly by the St. Joseph's Section and China Athletic Asso- ciation, both obtaining 10 points each. The team race which was eventually won by the St. Joseph's College was run off in four heats. The China Athletic Section, and St. Joseph's met in the final, provid. ing a thrilling race as both teams were evenly matched. St. Joseph's won by four yards.

South China opened with Chol Ping-fan who socked a two-bagger and was scored by Ed Chẳng. Lee fanned the next three batters.
K. K. Leung faced Matty Chang, who was in the bax in place of Ed. Chang. Leung, got to first on a hit. Ng and C. C. Leung followed suit. With bases full, Tommy Chinn stug- ged for three bases, he himself later, St. Joseph's College Section:-2, erossing the plate on catcher's, error.
Scoring four runs in the first inning and being three runs to the good, the Kiaora lads were in high spirits as their earnest hope to spring a surprise on their redoubtable opponents might yet be realised.

The first two rinks were evenly matched, Whibley (K.B.G.C.) getting the better of McKechnie by two pointa, whilst Warren (K.B.G.C.) tied with Walmsley.
Munro (T.R.C.) had easily the better of the argument with Bell, although the latter firew first blood with a three, which he followed up with a single. In scoring a total of 25 shots, Munro's side chalked
up four threes and a four.
The concluding stages of this match were played in very bad
