Canton, Yesterday. In order to increase the power of the Carton Navy, Admiral Chan Chak has, according to ❤ report. ordared 16 quick ring guns, with 2,000 rounds of ammunition, from a Hong Kong firm, for the Sum $187,000.
It is understood that the Central Government will remit the amount for payment, as the Canton Navy is now under its control. The guns are said to have arrived at Hong Kong, awaiting the Canton efficials who are to take delivery,
