We are informed that on the night of the 20th inst. a female Chinese passenger on board the Yaumati ferry, jumped overboard as the vessel left Yaumati. She was rescued by the sailors and brought on board whereupon Fan Shui-nam, a member of the St. John Ambulance Brigadé applied artificial respiration. After work- ing on the woman for 15 minutes she was removed by Police launch to Yaumall and admitted into the Kwong Wah Hospital where she afterward recovered.
