50 PER CENT. INCREASE LOCALLY.
ASSOCIATION'S, WARNING.
There was a fifty per cent, in- crease in the number of cases of misconduct reported to the Hong Kong Football League during last
season.
The offences and punishments Inflicted according to the annual report of the Association (to be submitted and at annual general meeting at Volunteer Headquarters on Thursday), were as follow:- A case of kicking an opponent
2 weeks suspension.
Three cases of deliberately kick- ing opponents-2 months suspen- slon, suspended for the rest of the season from 17.12.27 and auspend- ed for 12 months from 1.2.28.
Three cases of ungentlemanly conduct towards Referee-suspend- ed for 6 weeks, suspended for rest of season from 13.3.28 and a severe reprimand.
Three cases of Aghting on the feld-6 weeks suspension, suspend- ed for rest of season from 26.11.27 and one exonerated.
Four cases of striking an oppon- ent on the field-6 weeks suspen- sion, months auspension, BUR- pended rest of season from 6.1.28) and suspended 12 months from 14.2.28.
One case of attempting to strike an apponent-Severe caution.
