Captain R. L. Hughes, M.B.E., of the Lancashire Shipping Company's new motorship "Greystoke Castle," which is at present in Hong Kong harbour, on her maiden voyage (she was launched on December 9) from New York and back, via the Medi-, terranean, held

The guests were met on the gang- way of the ship by Captain Hughes who, with his officers, escorted the visitors around the vessel, giving interesting explanations of the various latest navigation develop ments, and up-to-date life-saving equipment. The Chief Engineer acted as guide for those of a me chanical turn of mind who went down into the engine room.
