SHIPPING SECTION.

"LUNG SHAN."

HEAVY CARGO DELAYS SAILING,

Last night the se. "Lung Shan" arrived from Canton nearly an hour behind schedule time. Various rumours immediately spread, the most persistent being that the crew had walked out. When the boat eventually made fast to the wharf at 9.55 p.m., it was learned that the delay was due to the unusually large amount of cargo which she had taken to Cunton proventing her from being unlonded in time to sail at 3 p.m., according to schedule, She left Canton at 4 p.m. and gained five minutes of her handicap on the down trip.
