How a ricsha coolie, "driving to "the danger of the public," pulled his vehicle over the body of a young Portuguese lady, Miss A. Jorge, was related to Mr. E. W. Hamilton at the Kowloon Magis tracy this morning His Worship Imposed a fine of $10 or 15 days.
Miss Jorge was in a bus moving along Nathan Road towards the ferry. Outside the Kowloon Dis- Mias: pensary, the bus stopped. Jorge got off and was knocked down by defendant's ricsha which came up from behind, going in the same direction as the bus. The riesha, stated Miss Jorge in evidence, passed over her body but she was only slightly injured. Mr. P. T. Farrell, President, of the Kowloon Bowling Green Club, the who was the occupant of
