SYDNEY, February 34. A crowd of 57,000 were pre- sent to-day, when the game between the M.CC. and New South Wales was continued. The weather was sultry. The wicket Is still good and wearing well.
New South Wales, at the end of the day, had made 546 for the loss: of five wickets.

The bowling was without sting and was never difficult. Through out the day, the batsmen had thes mastery,
Collins scored 173, which includ ed one five and 13 fours. He was batting 4 hours 17 minutes.
Andrews made 244. playing brilliant all round cricket He was at the wickets for five minutes ender five hours and obtained 13 fours. His score is the highest so far made against the present M. C. C. team.
Collins and Andrews scored 270 In three hours; which is a record second wicket stand in M. C. C. and N. S. W. matches.
