WOMAN'S FALL DOWN STAIRS.
H
Miss Mary Anne, Morris, 'a dressmaker, of Weybridge, Surrey, was found dead at the foot of the stairs which led from a Rat in which she lived alone with broken crockery, and a tray scattered around her. The body had evidently been there all night.
At the inquest it was pointed out that she had been wearing' high-heeled shoes, and the coroner suggested that her heel might have caught on a step, causing her to fall down head foremost, as the skull was fractured. A verdict of Accidental Death was recorded.
