LAST WEEK'S VOTING CONTEST.

CORONET THEATRE'S OFFER.

Last week's voting contest was very close, competitors voting for tho twelve stars they liked best. The management of the Coronet Theatre offered the prize of $50 and competitors had the added pleasure of knowing that they were helping to choose their own movies. Although none of the competitors succeeded in getting the highest number of points possible, a few came very

near..

The winner is

Mr. Fung Chuen,

c/o E. D. Shank, 50 and 52, Queen's Road, Central,

who obtained 629 points. Mr. Fung Chuen should apply to the Management of the Coronet Theatre who will be pleased to give him a cheque for the $50 prize. Two other entrants each had 628 points while another compet! tor had two coupons each of which obtained 626.

The correct solution is as fol- fows:-

1. MARY PICKFORD

2. DOUGLAS FAIRBANKS

3. HAROLD LLOYD

4 NORMA TALMADGE

5. CHARLIE CHAPLIN

6. LILLIAN GISH

7. JACKIE COOGAN

8. CONSTANCE TALMADGE

9. RICHARD BARTHELMESS 10. RUDOLPH VALENTINO 11. NAZIMOVA

12. DOROTHY GISH

One coupon was filled in so that it included all the twelve names in the correct solution but the order in which they were put was such that the total number of marks

carrie to less than 620.

A lady competitor

gave all twelve places to lady stars while one of the sterner sex gave all to

men.

Another competitor was tactful enough to fill in one coupon by giving the first six places to actresses and the bottom half to actors, a second coupon in just thei reverse way with a third vote in which men and ladies were given the odd and even numbers. At least three of four coupons had D. W. Griffith in the first or second place.
