P.W.D. DRIVER ON TRIAL.
Undefended by counsel, the Chinese driver of a P.W.D. motor lorry stood his trial at the criminal sessions to-day before Mr. Justice Gompertz on # charge of manslaughter.
The Crown case was conducted by the Attorney General (the Hon. lr. J. H Kemp KC.), from whose brief outline of the facts it appeared that the prisoner's torry knocked down and killed a 'small Chinese girl in Bullock Lane, Wanchai. The Crown alleged culpable negligence.
