Herr Rosen, the Foreign Minister, on behalf of the Government, has apologised to the French Ambassador for the incident at Beuthen. He said that the Government is endeavouring to secure work for volunteers in Upper Silesia with a view to preventing the deplorable incidents which are, hampering its efforts to improve Franco-German relations.
