The C.P.OS. Co's "Empress, of Asia" arrived in Hongkong about noon yesterday, three days late owing to foggy weather between Vancouver and Yokohama and a typhoon between Shanghai and Manila, necessitating, a voyage round the island of Formosa. Owing to the heavy seas and strong head wind, the vessel lost two days on the trip to Manila, where further delay was caused in getting alongside by the wild weather.
