But before they got there they came across another baad of robbers from the south hills, who opened are upon them. They therefore decided to surrender, thinking that the robbers would be unlisfied with the miney and the goods. But they took the two Americans and one of the Chinese engineers named Wu and made for the mountains with the money and gooda.
