The tide table given below has ban compiled at the Nautical Almanse Offic in London from the result of the 'spalydd of observations taken by means of a 14 tomatic tide-recording machine in the Wa Basin at Tsim Sha Tsui during tor Police the years. 1887 8-9.
The taro of the table corresponds with the zero of the sounding in the Admiralby Charts which has been found to ne 4 feet 8 inches below mean sea level
To obtain the depth of water on the tide range at the Victoria Naval Yard add ·8 | feet 4 inches, and on the gange at Lamoni Dook, Aberdem, add 10 feet 6 inches t the height given in the table.
