Sir Edward Redioni, C.B, is retiring from the position of Secretary to the General Post Office in Scotland, after 40 years service, and in an interview he has been giving some of his early experiences. On one occasion, in a small village in the very far North, he came across a sub- postmaster who had a keen eye on the main chance.
