LONDON, January 3. Oficial publication of the Straits Opium Report has been sanctioned.

The report finds that excessive indulgence in the habit is only in isolated cases, and that there has been to increase either in excessive or moderate use of the drug. Neither Las there been any increase of avila.

The report recommends Government control by monopoly, and suggests certain regulations regarding women and children.
