There was resumed at the Magistracy Hongkong Sub. Coin today, before Mr J. R. Weed, the case in which He Chesng was cloyed with being in unbusful possession of three cheques, ralued $86 29, the property of the Dairy Faria Co.
Mr G. N. Orme, deputy supt of police, prosecuted and Mr Daniel, of Messrs Folins, Stokes, and Master, defended.
Defendant had previously been charged with the otteneo, and dismissed, and His Worshly now intimated that he did not intend to hear the case again. Defendant was therefore discharged.
Chan Chik Yee, shroff to Mesars Hastings and Hiebings, was then indicted with at- tempting to obtain a reward for aiding in the recovery of the cheques without bringing the offender to trial. Mr G. F. Dixon defended.
Previous evidence was repeated and thon the accountant aud shroff of the Dairy Farm at Kowloon spoke to missing
