SITUATION,
Further Increase of Taxation.
It is satisfactory to learn, says the "Japan Chronicle," that, thanks to the eforts of Marquis Katsura, ex-Frumier, the Army and Navy authorition have consented to a pastponement of some of! the undertakings now in progress in order to facilitate the efforts of the Government in formulating scheine to meet the pressing requirements of the present financial situation.
