On the 2nd, Chinese policeman was striking & Japan- e child in the street, when a Japanese mn up and interfered, a severo dispute ensuing. The policeman eventually blow his polica whistle, whereupon about sixty Chinese troops ont polico duty went to thu place, some of them striking the Japanese above referred to. Some other Japanese then ran to the scene and a fight took place, the Chinese troops drawing their swords.
