The Tide Table given below has been compiled by the Nautical Almanas Office in London from the result of the analysis of absorvations taken by means of an au tomatic tide-recording machine in the Wai ter Polica Basin at Tsim Sha Teyi during the year 1887-8-9.
The zero of the table is Low Water Or dinary Spring Tidos, which has been found to be 2 feel below, mean sen terol.
To obtain the depth of water on the tiño Augu at the Victoria Naval Yard add li ft. in, and on the gaugo at Taani Dock, Aberdeen, add 12 ft. 9 in. to be bolght.
