The Correspondents' column also affords farther and greater facilities for the inter- change of views and discussion of various topics.

Original contributions in Chinese, Latin, or any of the Modern Languages are re- ceived. The papers are contributed by the members of the various Consular, the In- perial Chistops, and Hongkong Services, And also by the Missionary bodios amongat rhon a high degree of Chinese scholarship is assiduously cultivated. Amongst the regular contributors are Dis.
