EVIDENCE was led before Captain Thomsett at the Police Court this morning, in the

Daylighting on leaves for Hoihowcase in which Li Hung and Li Afat wero charged with aiding and abetting in the manslaughter of Lan Amol who was kicked to death, during a quarrel, in a house in First Stroot, Thors being no evidence ta convict the men, the first was discharged, and the second ordered to find security in the sum of $20, to be of good behaviour for one month. It will be remembered that an inquest wis held on the body of the do- consod last Monday, when the jury returned a vordibt of manslaughter against Li Akut, the man who caused the death of the de consed. This man managed to escape to HONGKONG DISPENSARY, Kowloon, to which place he was teed by
