(5) COST OF EQUIPMENT AND OPERATION.
The following figures showing cost of equipment and operation were kindly sup- plied by the Director of Education for Malaya.
It should be observed that while the Trade School at Singapore has now its full complement of students, that at Penang is still considerably under strength due to its having only two years in operation instead of three.
When the fees paid at Penang are taken into consideration we get the amended figure.
