LegCo passes the Medical Registration (Amendment) Bill 2017 to improve the Medical Council of Hong Kong's complaint investigation and disciplinary inquiry mechanism, increase lay membership in the council and enable it to approve applications of non- locally trained doctors for limited registration for a period from not exceeding one year to not exceeding three years.
The month is marked by 196.2 hours of bright sunshine, the most since records began in 1885 and more than twice the norm of 90.8 hours for March.
Two high-level bodies chaired by the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, each begins its first two-year tenure.
