The Financial Secretary, Mr Paul Chan Mo-po, delivers the Budget for the 2018-19 financial year, aiming to diversify the economy, invest for the future, and build a caring and sharing society.
The Development Bureau says that from the first quarter of 2018-19, the tender amounts of all unsuccessful submissions under the Land Sale Programme will be published on an anonymous basis after all transaction procedures of the successful bid are completed, to provide more market information and address market interest in land tender results.

The government's waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) treatment and recycling facility, WEEE PARK, opens in Tuen Mun to turn waste into reusable materials such as plastics and metals. The facility signifies a major milestone in Hong Kong's sustainable use of resources and supports a producer responsibility scheme on WEEE that comes into full operation on 31 December.
