IMPROVING PRODUCTIVITY AND EFFICIENCY

Bus Body Advertising

The Company continued its efforts towards increasing its income from sources other than fares. To

increase public awareness of the value of bus bodies as an advertising medium, the “123 Campaign” (i.e.

selling advertising space on one cross harbour, 2 urban Kowloon and 3 New Territories buses as a

package) was launched in early 1995 and received a good response. In December 1995, a new advertising

package, the "Four 2s", was introduced to further encourage bus body advertising on our New Territories

buses.
